Dr. Ahmed Elwahidi is a Consultant General Surgeon specializing in gastrointestinal, laparoscopic, and bariatric surgery. He began his academic journey graduating from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 2008, before relocating in 2011 to the Federal Republic of Germany to pursue advanced surgical training, extensive hands-on experience in major teaching hospitals, and specialized training in bariatric and metabolic surgery.
Dr. Elwahidi holds the German Board in Gastrointestinal Surgery (2021) and the European Board in General Surgery (2023), in addition to the German Fellowship in Colon & Rectal Surgery (2022) and a fellowship in Clinical Nutrition from the German Society for Clinical Nutrition (DGEM).
Dr. Ahmed Elwahidi is currently based in Amman, providing advanced surgical care and consultations for obesity treatment (sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass) and endoscopy at his specialized clinic in Amman, Jabal Amman, 3rd Circle, Al-Khalidi Street, Abu Firas Al-Hamdani Street, Al-Basma Medical Complex, 4th Floor.

Our follow-up protocol combines direct surgical monitoring with a structured clinical nutrition program based on German nutritional medicine standards, including DGEM principles.
